The Guild of Property Professionals is delighted to announce its Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony, titled Ignite, taking place on Friday, 6 February at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London. The flagship event will bring together Guild Members from across the UK for a day of insight, inspiration and celebration, designed to help businesses thrive in 2026 and beyond.

The theme Ignite reflects the conference’s core aim: to provide Members with practical tips, fresh ideas and expert insight to help them add fuel to their businesses and succeed in an ever-evolving property landscape.

The conference will open with an address from Iain McKenzie, CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals, setting the scene for the year ahead and outlining how The Guild continues to support its Members in a competitive and changing market.

Delegates will then hear from Anthony Codling, Head of European Housing and Building Materials Research at RBC Capital Markets, who will deliver a detailed overview of the property market landscape. Drawing on the latest data, Codling will explore what the figures mean in real terms for agents and the opportunities and challenges likely to shape the year ahead.

Technology and innovation will also be a key focus, with Adam Noonan, Group Commercial Director at The Property Franchise Group, providing insight into the current and future proptech landscape, and how agents can leverage emerging tools to enhance efficiency, customer experience and growth.

Compliance and legislation will be firmly in the spotlight with a dedicated session on the Renters’ Rights Act, led by Paul Offley, Guild Compliance Officer, alongside Tanya Pearson, Senior Account Manager at The Guild with extensive lettings knowledge and experience. Together, they will explore what the changes mean for agents and how best to prepare.

Brand and marketing will be addressed by Ben Madden from Digital Sparks, who will deliver a session titled Ignite Your Influence, focusing on how agents can build powerful brands that stand out in crowded markets.

Renowned motivational speaker and leadership expert, Nigel Risner is also in the line-up of speakers. In his talk, Igniting Communication and Connection, Risner, known as The Zookeeper, will use his acclaimed zoo metaphor to help delegates understand different personality types within teams. By improving communication and collaboration, he will show how businesses can work more effectively and achieve greater success.

Rounding off the conference programme, delegates will hear from Dr Robbie Anderson, a distinguished performance psychologist with an exceptional track record at the highest levels of professional sport and business. He currently works closely with Formula 1 drivers and teams, helping them perform under intense pressure. His session will explore the psychology of high performance and how these principles can be applied to business.

The event will conclude with The Guild Awards Ceremony, celebrating outstanding achievement, service and professionalism among Guild Members over the past year.

Commenting on the event, McKenzie said: “Ignite is about giving our Members the spark they need to move forward with confidence. From market insight and legislation to leadership, branding and performance psychology, the conference is designed to leave attendees energised, informed and ready to take action in their businesses.”
