The Guild of Property Professionals is inviting estate agents across the industry to attend a webinar on Thursday 23 July at 10:30am, exploring the Government’s proposed changes to the home buying and selling process and what they could mean for agents.
Hosted by Paul Offley, Compliance Officer at The Guild of Property Professionals, the webinar comes as the proposed reforms continue to generate widespread discussion throughout the property sector. While no changes have been confirmed, speculation around the proposals, including suggestions that Home Information Packs (HIPs) could make a return, has prompted many agents to question how their businesses could be affected.
Drawing on his extensive experience supporting agents through legislative and regulatory change, Offley will examine what is currently being proposed, separate fact from speculation, and provide practical insight into the potential implications for estate agency businesses.
Paul Offley, Compliance Officer at The Guild of Property Professionals, said: “Whilst nothing has been confirmed, it’s understandable that many agents are already asking what these proposals could mean for their businesses.
“Having supported Guild Members through many legislative and regulatory changes over the years, it’s important to separate speculation from what’s actually being proposed. Understanding the detail early helps businesses prepare without reacting unnecessarily.
“That’s why I’ll be hosting a webinar this Thursday, where I’ll look at the proposals as they stand today, discuss their potential impact on agents, and answer questions live.”
The webinar is open to both Guild Members and non-members, reflecting The Guild’s commitment to supporting the wider industry with clear, practical guidance on emerging legislative developments.
Agents attending the session will gain an overview of the proposals as they currently stand, explore the potential impact on the home buying and selling process, and have the opportunity to put their questions directly to The Guild’s compliance team.
Estate agents interested in attending can register for the Home Buying & Selling Reforms Webinar.
