The Guild of Property Professionals is inviting its Members to step away from their desks and into the great outdoors with its new series of ‘Guild Net-walking’ events. The initiative provides a unique platform for Members to have valuable face-to-face interactions with The Guild’s team, combining important business discussions with scenic walks in some of the UK’s most beautiful locations.
Recognising the demanding nature of the estate and letting agency profession, the events are designed to promote both physical wellness and professional growth. The initiative is spearheaded by Rob Walker, Business Development Manager and Steve McCabe, Account Manager at The Guild, who have invited the network to take a well-deserved break and lace up their walking boots.
“We all know how demanding this industry can be, with long hours and constant pressure,” says McCabe. “That’s why we wanted to create something different. These walks are all about switching off, getting outdoors, and connecting - not just with nature, but with each other. It’s an opportunity to decompress, share ideas, and build relationships in a completely different environment.”
The Guild Net-walking events offer a relaxed, informal setting for agents to discuss industry trends, challenges, and opportunities with their peers and their Guild account managers. The format encourages open conversation and stronger professional bonds, away from the constraints of an office or video call.
Walker added, “The response to the first event was incredible. The conversations you have on a hillside are often more open and productive than those in a formal meeting. We’re providing a space for our Members to support their mental and physical well-being while still gaining immense professional value. We can't wait to welcome more Members in Snowdon and Yorkshire.”
