Industry Comment Iain McKenzie, CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals 7th November 2024

The Guild of Property Professionals celebrated an impressive showcase of success at this year’s EA Masters, with Guild agents walking away with top honours. The prestigious awards event, attended by more than 1,000 estate agents and industry suppliers, took place on 5 November at Evolution London in Battersea Park. The awards ceremony, hosted by BBC The One Show’s Alex Jones and SAS: Who Dares Wins star Jason Fox, highlighted achievements across the property industry, recognising outstanding talent, dedication, and innovation.

Among the evening’s notable winners were Guild Members Roseberry Newhouse and Seymours Estate Agents, who took home two of the highest accolades in the Best Estate Agent Guide Awards. Roseberry Newhouse was named Best Sales & Lettings Overall Winner, while Seymours Estate Agents claimed the title of Best Lettings Overall Winner. These awards honour the very best performers in the UK property industry, and placement in the Best Estate Agent Guide represents a mark of distinction, achieved through consistent commitment to customer service, expertise, and outstanding results.

Commenting on their win, John Newhouse, Director of Roseberry Newhouse, said: “We are incredibly honoured to have been recognised as the Best UK Estate Agency Sales and Letting Agent. This achievement is a testament not only to our team’s dedication but, most importantly, to our wonderful clients in Teesside and North Yorkshire who have placed their trust in us to help them with one of life’s most significant decisions.

This award is also a reflection of the exceptional efforts of our team, whose commitment and passion for helping clients shines through in everything they do. From the first conversation to handing over the keys, their dedication makes this recognition possible. I’m deeply grateful to work alongside such talented professionals.”

Ian Marlow, Director at Seymours, adds: “We are very proud of this award and being recognised at the EA Masters amongst so many other amazing property professionals. This award is a culmination of the hard work the team has put in over the past year, ensuring that customer service is at the forefront of what we do. It is recognition of the collective effort and dedication of our team to go above and beyond for our clients.”
