Staffordshire-based estate agency C residential has once again achieved national recognition by winning The Guild Agent of the Year 2024 at the prestigious ESTAS Awards, marking their fourth consecutive win in this category. The ESTAS are based purely on customer feedback, making this achievement a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to outstanding service.

Speaking on the win, Angi Cooney, Director of C residential, said: "To know that our clients appreciate our service is one thing, but to be awarded The Guild Agent of the Year in 2021, 2022, 2023, and now 2024 is truly mind-blowing."

C residential’s journey in the property industry began in 2003 with a focus on providing traditional customer service in an evolving market. While embracing cutting-edge technology and Proptech, the agency remains grounded in its core values, focusing on creating memorable customer experiences. Angi emphasised, “Although technology and Proptech seem to change almost daily, what never dates is good old-fashioned customer service. We embrace technology but will adapt it to our core principles and will use it as an aid, rather than a tool to do our job.”

In addition to their main accolade, C residential also took home three other awards on the night. Silver for UK Estate Agent of the Year, Gold for Best Estate Agent in the West Midlands and Gold for Best in County.

Remarkably, these wins mirrored their success from the previous year, reflecting their consistency and dedication. When asked what sets them apart from other agencies, Angi highlighted, “The word consistency is used a lot in our industry, but it really does come down to that. Our standards and customer service levels have not altered since 2003. If you always have the seller, buyer, landlord or tenant in mind when you think about everything you do, it gives you a base to work from.”

C residential’s membership with The Guild of Property Professionals has also played a significant role in their continued success. Angi noted that their affiliation with The Guild has allowed them to stand among the UK’s top agents, stating, “By being part of The Guild, it gave us the ability to stand on the backs of giants. We really do feel we are part of the most amazing group of property professionals at the top of their game.”

Customer feedback is central to C residential’s approach, with every review discussed in team meetings, helping to shape their operations and enhance service quality. Angi explained, “We discuss every review in our meetings. No one likes to be critiqued, but you only learn from it. As a company, we do not operate a blame culture; it is a team mentality.”

Looking ahead, C residential has their sights set on even greater achievements. Angi revealed, “There is only one goal, and that is to win Gold UK Winner 2025, an award we won in 2022.”

For other agencies looking to improve their customer ratings, Angi’s advice is simple: “Sign yourself up to the ESTAS to gain reviews. It is the only award system that is judged purely on your clients’ experiences. We use the ESTAS in its purest form as a review platform. It gives customers somewhere to check out what real people with real experiences have to say. We are only as good as our last sale. and each one counts.”
